For pure entertainment value, and for those of you not aware of the tide changes we have in the Puget Sound area, I posted a small number of pics that show the "typical" tide changes we see (twice per 24 hour period). The pictures are of my marina in Gig Harbor.
Today was a 14 foot difference:
Low tide this morning about 10:30 am: (note the ramp angle and roof height compared to the fence):
