2009 Theme: Dock Party!


The majority of the weekend's festivities will take place right on the Dock.


Several experiences have been planned throughout the weekend including;






Friday, August 14th

Check in upon arrival at the Welcome Boat located on Dock E

Dock Party Happy Hour 5pm-7pm
Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and get ready to Party on the Dock!

~Hosted drinks
~Bring an appetizer to share.
Best appetizer will win dinner for two and free moorage for the weekend!



Saturday, August 15th

Good Morning Gourmet Galley Cooking Class and Mixology Training 9am-12pm
Cooking in a galley can be challenging. You want your foods to have flare yet space is limited.
Blue Ribbon’s French trained chef will teach you how to make a perfect omelet.
And you get to eat what you make!
In addition new drink recipes will be taught by Blue Ribbon's Mixology Instructor.
Mix up current creations such as basil infused strawberry cocktails, coffee drinks and non-alcoholic lavender lemonade.

Annual Poulsbo Poker Run

Women on the Water Classes
Space is limited. Sign up upon arrival.
Reservations will be taken on a first come basis.

Transom to Transom Wine Tasting and Hors d’oeuvres 5pm
Experience three wonderful reds from local Poulsbo winery, Liberty Bay Cellars
Tasting by founder and winemaker Dave Prigmore

Italian Dock Dinner and 6pm
Paired with delicious wines, enjoy an all time favorite Italian Dinner on the Docks

For those of you who missed this event..... It was top notch !! The folks at Lake Union Sea Ray did a great job !!
(Thank you Kay) We had 50 Ray's on the dock and everybody had a great time !!

I'm playing a bit of catch up on the blog. It's addicting, especially the Inside Passage entires.

I'm currently reading the posts where they are on Adak Island. Wow, tons of WWII history laying around all over that island. Complete with old planes and a Japanese sub. Cool photos too.

I'm with ya Todd. I would do that in a heartbeat. However, you look at some of the systems Ken Williams installed on his boat and you sit there and think, wow, that guy has some money.
