If you have a chart plotter with man overboard push it when you drop your anchor and push it after you set your anchor. It will tell you if you slip the anchor. You will be surprised how you drift and when you pull your anchor you have a path to follow so you can get it up easier.

was a good night to be in the mid atlantic / north east! I have a feeling the wife would eventually appreciate a boat with a little more walking room and a stall shower like your 44... I have 3 more seasons with this one and we will see whats next! in the meantime its all good

you are building great memories....now all you need is a shot of lime flavored vodka in that Corona...........

Good times.

Looks like a beautiful night. Can’t wait to make the next trip up the Hudson. Really nice change from the south shore of Long Island. Hoping to make another trip up to Kingston sometime next month.

I def want to do a trip up the Hudson this year. Later in the year to see all the Leafs changing.... Thinking Haverstraw marina... But then curious whats a little further up. Any nice marinas further up, Maybe a nice town in walking distance to walk around???

Yup...this past weekend in Fairlee Creek Chesapeake

The fireworks (seen from over the trees at Button Beach) were amazing! Could hear the roars and cheers from over a mile away.

Anchoring finally gives us a good excuse to turn off the idiot box (TV) and get to know each other. Found out my 4yo is excellent at War and she even takes pity on me and let's me win from time to time.

nice..!! we hope to be on the hook this weekend!
