Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Hi All
I am looking to replace my cockpit carpets and would like to hear from anyone who has replaced their carpet with any of the faux teak deck type materials and if so where you got it from.

yes , I put in the three bank / 2 alt isolator which ties in the alternators to all three banks. as for a/c load for the inverter, I would probably only be using TV / dvd and occasional microwave / blender. although I do have dual voltage tv , they are all plugged into the ac outlet in that compartment.

That dual-voltage TV will always run off the inverter as long as it is supplying power. This is less efficient than running the TV directly from DC. Twe're it me, I'd set it up such that the TV always runs off DC.

Recently bought new canvas for my ‘98 330 Sundancer. Had to buy all the pieces so they would match. Therefore I have a Bimini and sunshade in pretty good shape. “Toasted Tweed” if anyone is interested.

Hi Tony,
I haven't seen you on in a while. Are you still making the replacement bilge vent covers? I've had a few people asking me but my fiberglass guy is pretty much retired.

I replaced my cockpit carpet with Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl. While I didn't select a faux teak pattern, I can say that I love the look and quality. Quint4 on this forum actually made my vinyl, he does outstanding work.

peaking of this , there is the old tv antenna control in the same compartment which isn't used anymore. is there 12v power to that? im wondering if I can grab it from there

It does run on 12V, but its wires are too small to run a TV. There is a bundle of wires that runs behind that little TV amp panel. You may be able to tap into something there.

Anybody had this problem: I have the original Protech 1230i battery charger on my '99 330 Dancer. This spring I replaced my 3 batteries, 2 starters and 1 house, didn't replace the 4th battery to the genny- removed it not using the generator. This past weekend I went to the boat to find all 3 batteries dead. No DC switches were on and the only AC items on were the charger and outlet switch but nothing was plugged in or no lights left on. I can find nothing that would have caused all three batteries to drain. Could it be a bad charger? Any ideas?

Make sure your AC converter was on at the panel. I left mine off before and the batteries drained over the course of a week or two.

Getting back to the question about the spot light that won't move vertically. Where are the 2 fuses located that would control the movement of the light?
Thanks

OK. Thanks. I have a different set up. I Have a 380 that has a dial type of pad. Rotate it left and right or up and down.

I've seen several posts concerning replacement of OEM gauges. I've been thinking about replacing mine as a few of them are getting a little wonky, and some of the aftermarket styles will really add to the curb appeal. Fortunately the burl dash panels were well covered over the years and not suffering from fading so I won't have to replace them. I really like the look of the Faria Chesapeake white with chrome trim rings, but it seems like the 2" engine synch gauge may no longer be available. I may have to go with the similar gauge in black and sub in the Legends series 2" synch gauge from FP. Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated!
