Official 320 Dancer Thread

Need some help fellow 320 owners. I have a non functioning fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge in one of my pods. We thought it may be the sending units but it turned out they are fine. SeaRay is telling us the gauges are not supported by SeaRay anymore. Does anyone one have any suggestions. FP was a no go. Thanks....

The Gauge is 4 in 1... Are you saying only half is not working or all of it?

So now I have a somewhat off the wall question. I just noticed that I am missing my shower curtain in the head. I am also missing the part that screws into the fiberglass (I want to call it the shower rod I guess). Does anyone have any suggestions? I have already checked Flounder Pounder.
I used a normal shower curtain from Walmart (for a shower stall, not a bathtub), pretty sure I still trimmed it, the installed two of those hooks from 3M, not permanent, and I just hang the curtain up when showering. When done, I hang it up on a single hook by folding it accordion style and putting each eye through the hook. It stays relatively out of the way. When the curtain gets mildew, etc, I’m just going to throw it out, it was 4$, but without daily use, it still looks like new.

Has anyone upgraded there TV on the bulk head wall? And if so to what size and did they take that filler piece out.... Pics would be great... Thanks again....

Does the smartcraft screen have accurate fuel and oil pressure? It must if they are saying the sending units are good. This assumes you have smartcraft, if you do, there is a smarcraft gauge that is the 4-in-1 that might work, not sure if it is the same size.

That would be great if you don’t mind!
Here you go. The height of the curtains are 6” on each end, but 8” in the middle. The length is shown in the photos (but is deceptive because itcannot measure the folds, of course). The bottom width is close to 40” if you lay it out flat.

I did. I didn’t take any piece out, although I did trim some vinyl in order to mount the tv mount to the bulkhead wood. There’s a fantastic discussion of how to do this on CSR. I’ll see if I can locate it. The most difficult part (because it was time consuming) was routing the coax to the Glomex switch on the other side of the cabin.

Read this one all the way through. It was my guide to doing my install.

I know this is a pretty generic question but what type of dinghy/davits do you all use on your 320's?

Looking for options and suggestions on setups! Pictures would be great!!!

No Smartcraft 2003 model. But yes the starboard side fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge peg as soon as you start the boat. The guy who did the survey thought it was the tank sending unit so I did have that installed and it did not fix the problem so I know know the issue. I knew the oil pressure gauge was bad at the time of survey but we of course confirmed that the engine had good pressure. I just need a resource to get the gauges fixed.

Try swapping the wires on the other guage just to make sure it is the guage and not the harness or junction box. You do have the sc1000 guages with the lcd in the tachs right? Thought that started in 03.

As a side topic: while you might not have SmartCraft gauges, your engines are probably SC-enabled. Mine are. So as a future upgrade, you can add a SC to NMEA2000 gateway, to get engine data on your plotter. Then add N2K fuel senders, trim tab sensors, etc., to really outfit your boat!

Yes I already did the swap deal that is how we knew the sending units were working. It is the gauges for sure. I just need to know if anyone knows of a repair service.

Thanks I have been reading all of the posts and it is on the list for future plans. Right now I am just trying to see if their is a gauge repair service out there.

Try great lakes skipping. Maybe you can use the guts out of one of their 4 in 1 units.

I found some multifunction gauges online, but no idea if they are compatible. They were all on great lakes skipper, but there were a few others. From the parts manual, do you have a teleflex gauge? They are now seastarsolutions.

Thanks Todd, I will check it out. I was hoping to see if I could find someone who actually repaired gauges. There are several who do automotive I may reach out to them as well.

On another topic I am doing some PM before the start of the season. Had the cap and rotor button changed and all new plugs put in. It cost me about $250.00 per side. This included a complete engine diagnostic and shaft inspection. Cap, rotor and plugs were all original. Not to bad for 15 years in the boat. Boat has 255 hours.
