I think my cool fuel pump is failing. It appears that it is under the engine. any tricks on getting it out without removing engine?

Probably the CF2 on the port side ? If so, disconnect the 2 fuel lines that go to the filter and the 1 that goes to the fuel rail. Disconnect the power plug and the vacuum hose. Unscrew the 2 nuts on the bracket that holds it, and it drops down and slides out below your motor mount.
Doubt it. Getting stuck usually means your cooling system gets plugged up. Probably the Mefi 3 ECM ? Very few things trigger an alarm on that one. Probably no Water pressure sensor either.
With the limited info on what system you have it's hard to say
Don't have time to look that up for you now. Post up your engine number, starts with a 0. One thing I can say is that 99% of the time beeping is not fuel related. That could be the 555 ecm which does have the water pressure sensor and that could be your problem, and makes sense with the grounding and all.
No, but more than likely your plugged up with sand/muck and it's the water pressure sensor.
I would backflush as many points as possible. That sensor is usually located on the power steering cooler.
No, tell the whole story with as much detail from the beginning
