All winter long my wife had been suggesting that we take the boat and move someplace warm.

This might be enough to get me to give in. 32 degrees, wind out of the north at 20, snow coming down sideways and a couple of inches on the ground.

She's on Zillow right now looking for a place in Florida.

Yep, mine is still inside, and the next week looks crappy also

Same here. Were on the hunt in FL and CA.

We just purchased a place in southern Florida gulf coast side for early retirement. Each trip down I research the boating options to see what we will do once we are there more than 2 weeks at a time.
Only thing worse than being trapped in cold weather is being in cold weather and owning a place in warm weather....

We just sold our place in Florida in February. It wasn't for me. Yes, the winter weather is nice but congestion everywhere and getting worse. 1000 new permanent residents per day move into the sunshine state. You'll have plenty of company.

I am a realtor in Treasure Island, FL, near St. Pete. PM me and I'll help you find a great place here. I step outside my back door walk past the tiki hut around the pool to the dock and onto my boat. Boating is year round and no winterization.

Yea, but with the snow bird crowd and the geriatric crowd there you can bet the death rate exceeds the new resident rate.
