Cummins dealer on LI

I'm looking to buy a boat equipped with a Cummins power and am scoping out local Cummins authorized service guys. The closest 2 dealers to my North Shore location look to be Dickson’s in Patchogue and Wesco in Hampton Bays.

Anyone have experience with either of these guys? Wesco has a website listed on the Cummins service finder, but it’s off line.
 
Wesco did our survey. We were very happy with their services. Just so happens that they also replaced a motor several years back on the boat we had surveyed.
 
I use Wesco, they are very good at what they do. Ive been using them for 10 years.
 
MAKO MARINE in freeport are awesome cummmins mechaincs and they don't beat u over the head at every step. I had my fill of WESCOs over charging, the bait a switch proposals , and the bogus travel charges etc . Cant go wrong with MAKO.

Do you happen to know if they would travel to Port Jefferson area? I could just call them during the week, but, you know...
 
IDK if this time of year they could get to u … cant hurt to call but I seriously doubt it .. Don't get me wrong WESCO does great work but the pricing is a giant pyramid scam. Even if u have a proposal... Shit goes sideways … Ive never ever experienced that with any other vendor ( and its happened more then once and not to just me ) that's the thing about the boating community … We all talk..
