Good morning all....when painting botom I noticed a bit of a water "bleed" coming from transducer perimiter when I pressed on it. Can this be tightened from the engine compartment? I may have finally discovered where the mild permeation of sea water into my bilge is coming from. Thx in advance.

There's often a large brass ring nut around the transducer housing that lets you compress a washer and gasket against the hull inside the bilge.
