Lake Saint Clair Peeps

Hey Rich howd the new toy boat work out for you? Shes a beaut walking by her!
She’s a lot of fun Scott. Kids love it. It’s fun to rip around the lake a little. One thing I never realized though is how stressful tubing can be for the driver. Docking with a single screw is different too. Kind of a shitshow right now till I get some reps..lol

Hey Brad I believe I saw you pulling out of the marina one day this past weekend. Nice looking boat you got there. I was in the green golf cart at the end of Mr. Mac and waved at you. Good luck with the electronics.

Thank God I'm not the only one..had the hardest time with that stupid little whaler..specially with my fatass listing to starboard made it hard to dock by myself

The way you were talking about that Whaler the other day I may be interested in taking it for a spin some time. I'm trying to decide if I want one to keep by the boat so I don't have to unload the dinghy everytime we want to go for a dinghy ride. I'm pretty sure I have decided against the Highfield with the console.

How about I keep mine by you (for free) and you and the wife can use it whenever...? Cooler only holds miller lite

We had a fun time at MacRay Harbor. Although the weather was not the best, we made the run between storms and got to the gas dock for a quick pump out then tied off in the transient slip. About 30 minutes later, the storm kicked up, while we had drinks up in the bridge. After it passed, we went up to North 21 and had dinner (so I am told, I had too many to drink and don't remember dinner)

I'm sure they're wrong! You probably had just the right number of drinks, but um, it's called North 42. Maybe you only had HALF as many drinks as you should have? :D

Middle Bass Island Saturday afternoon...similar looking clouds rolled in

Then Hail.... Hail is not a good sound on a boat

Yeah that don't sound fun.

Crap Brent I kinda forgot about you being there this weekend. Sorry I missed ya. I didn't get to the marina till almost noon Saturday and then I spent about 3 hours in the engine room replacing the forward head vacu-flush motor and bellows. I only took it apart and back together 7 times before getting it right:mad:. Then with the weather we took off in the truck and went to Sterling Heights for dinner.
I didn't really see anyone this weekend except for Rich who was pulling out Sunday in his truck. I was working my way down to say hi Rich when you pass me at the first two Amber slips. I saw Greg for a second right before we packed up and left Sunday afternoon. Hopefully this weekend we will have nicer weather.

I have up for one of my Lake St Clair Peeps, a prime slip at William G Milliken marina for the Saturday through Tuesday, June 22nd -25th for the Fireworks. The slip is the port side tie just as you come into the marina. Slip number 1. I made the reservation back in December but I find I have to be out of town on business. If you would like the reservation, PM me.

Doc O Rock, we will be at Milliken for those dates (June 22nd - 25th). We got 4 boats from our marina going down for the fireworks. We have been at Milliken many times but not for the Detroit Fireworks before, really looking forward to it.
I would think that someone will want that slip for those dates.

Joe, we had family coming over to the house for my daughters birthday. Of course it was nice out too.. The weather this weekend looks promising though. We’ll be out Friday morning to Sunday night. Let’s drink your beer

We were looking forward to the weekend. We were there last year for a concert and brought our bikes and rode the cut to the market, and had a great time. Maybe next year.

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to this group of guys and specially Joe and his wife (Ezsteps).. last fall a friend bought a older boat(nonsearay) to fix up for him and family and during the winter..
somebody had broken in and damaged the boat pretty bad and stolen all types of stuff from the boat..well I asked Joe how much on a amp that he had and Joe not even knowing what the story was said he would just hold it till he saw me and he did just that...What good is a boat without some kinda tunes lol so I gave my replacement speakers and Joe's amp to my buddy to get him up and running! Very helpful and solid deal and just want to thank him and all the new friends I've made from this site..pretty great place we have here guys!!
