Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Very interested to see how well you do with power. By the way, where are you from? We want a camper style canvas for our 330 but want to know how much this might cost before we make any decisions.
Absolutely. Once we get a few weeks worth of results out of the panels, I’ll share an update.
We’re based out of Seattle, but the canvas was on her when we bought her so I don’t know what it cost.

We absolutely love it though. Can button up when it rains or in the evening when it cools down. Fairly effective so far at keeping the bugs out.
Can roll it up or take it off when it’s sunny or swim time.

Rookie question time: We have dual tanks and engines. Does each engine draw from its respective tank (i.e. port engine draws only from the port tank) or do they draw from both?

You can draw from either tank, there is a switch above the port engine to switch tanks (at least there is on my 96)

Windshield wiper blades. Ours are crap and by the looks of things, the wrong ones as they don't stay attached. Who uses what (assuming pantographic arms for all of us)?
Marinoc 33015 16" Stainless Steel Deluxe wiper blade

My setup has a fuel cross-over system. I can choose which tank each engine draws from with a mechanical switch. I don't know if it was an option or standard.

I looked and, sure enough, there it was, just under the floor in front of the port engine. We had fueled the tanks the other day and the attendant wasn't watching what he was doing and we ended up with more than the 50 gallons we asked for in each tank. We ended up with 25 in the port tank and 75 in the stbd and now I need to run that one down a bit to equalize them.

They should yes. There are fuel selector knobs in the engine room that you can select which tank the engines will draw from.

Probably, but the fuel selector system was an option in those years, so they may not be on your boat.

I have a small water stream from your dripless seals? I wipe it dry and have an immediate trickle. The shaft is dry so it must be coming in from the bottom. I ensured the hose clamps were secure. Any ideas or experience with this?

By any chance would anyone know the color or have the part # of the beige/ almost white headliner in a 1996? Have a piece of trim I need to re cover. Thanks for any help!

I've got a strange bilge pump related question. I've got a 1992 330 Sundancer. I have two bilge pumps one at the very bottom of the bilge right near the transom and then another about a foot forward, still mounted to the hull but it's a few inches higher. I believe this to be the stock configuration (bilge pump and high water pump). Both have float switches. Neither work, and I don't have 12V connected to any of the wires connected to the float switches, which seems odd. The battery switches are on, and the bilge pump breaker in the battery area is not popped. I also checked the terminals on the bilge pump switch, mounted on the dash, to ground, and do not have 12 volts anywhere there either.

Any ideas on what to look at next?

I'm about to take the breaker box apart and see if I have 12V on one side of the breaker.

can any of you mid 90s 330 guys tell me where to find this? I hunted FP no luck

And the switch at the helm does not turn the lower in either?

My lower one went out but not certain what your issue is.

I believe that is an older style Hafele hinge. I did a Google search, and looked at quite a few images and didn't see an exact match but there were a few that were close. It might be worth contacting a one of their distributors in your area, and sending them a pic to see if they can help.

Correct, the switch at the helm doesn't do anything, I also don't have any 12V at any of the terminals on the dash switch. Very strange.

I took apart the breaker panel in the battery compartment, and I don't have 12V on either side of the bilge pump or emergency pump push breakers....
