Official 320 Dancer Thread

Fellow 320 owners need your help. We pulled the cabin fridge out and confirmed that we have 112 power at the outlet but the fridge will not run on 112V. It will run on 12V all day long. The cockpit fridge is good to go both ways. Any ideas or is it time to start shopping for a new fridge??

Now for one more question... here are the two plugs we pulled out of Koehler Gen set. Any idea why or how the one cylinder could be running so rich?

Those things eat plugs like candy. Best to exercise them regularly under moderate to heavy load. Sometimes they foul and different rates. Change them out and you should be good for a while.

You may be able to replace the power supply if you can find one. I would just replace the whole fridge. It's lived a long life.

Anyone here using a inflatable fold up dinghy that you can store in the boat or dock box ?? after a weekend of having some annoying people on the boat and being tied up with 12 other boats it was tough to kick them off so I now want a dinghy lol. . Tell me what you guys got and how you are using/storing them pics would be a nice help as well! NOT looking to mount anything to the swim deck!

Thanks all!!
We have a fold up inflatable paddle board. Still pretty big folded up, it’s like a super huge backpack. But, we enjoyed it over Memorial Day when we were rafted up to 3 other boats.

Thanks that’s what we did. We got down the Levee at 8:00am last Friday to get a good spot and ran the Gen from 8:00am until noon when they turned the dock power on. Ran the AC and battery charger the entire time.

Must have an escape plan. We use all Solstice gear. Keep two inflatable paddleboards rolled in the dock box or rolled on deck in front of the windshield vent. Check them out. My best friend (and partner in WaterDog) is the GM with this company. Anyone on this thread is welcome to message me for wholesale price plus shipping. I'll get him to get a code posted in the future. Needless to say, we have a lot of inflatables floating off the back on the weekend. Fun stuff!!!

How would I find out what the dimensions are of these when rolled up? The one we have is ginormous. This one looks smaller but hard to tell

Hey All,

Lost and engine abruptly while planning this weekend about 3800 rpm (port). Engines have been running smoothly and serviced regularly. I was unable to turn over the engine for more than a second. Seems like gas starvation, so with a little bit of searching I found out about the awesome cool fuel module that contains the fuel filter and water separator. (I spent an hour looking for a white round canister and inline filter). I have ordered the parts and plan on replacing both filters on both engines. Hopefully that will be a quick fix and the whole module doesn't need to be replaced, as I have read there are some issues with paint.

Engines have approx 320hrs. How often do these have to be changed? I couldnt find a schedule maintenance rec.

TIA

Haven't really seen the filters cause this. The CF3 paint clogging the injectors issues generally have symptoms leading up to this as well. One quick thing to check is the shreader valve. This some times fail and you can manually set it to open and thats easy to cancel out.

Is this the electric fuel valve? Sorry new to this, I am looking in the diagrams for it.

Think i spelled it wrong " Schrader Valve". It is electronic and should be mounted on your fuel tanks. If you follow the fuel line from your tank i believe its the first one you come to. Its a small cylinder with a little knob with markings for setting it to manual.

I am about 100 hours since my last service. So I will try the bypass valve first and if that resolves the issue I know I have a faulty one. Will need to change the fuel filters anyway for service. I leave the oil change up to the marina lol. Will report back ty!

Update On CGIII

I tried the schrader valve on bypass and no go unfortunately. I tested power to the pump and it was not getting any. Checked the relays and one had a burnt contact. Replaced that and still no go..Finally I replaced the entire pump and PRESTO!

Seems the pump likely also fried the relay. About 4 hour job.

Thanks for all the input.

Plan on doing the other on Sunday just to have peace of mind.

More questions from this first season owner.... how accurate is the speed from the original Tri-Data? I am going to use the GPS speed box on my phone for comparison but was just curious about everyone ‘s experience??

Anyone know or recommend a holding tank filter I attempted to search mine online and haven’t been able to find direct replacement. Filter says
Sealand PN 310001 Sealand replacement filter

I've heard you can make one cheaply with pvc and charcoal from a pet store. I haven't needed to replace mine yet. Do a search.

How do I find the part # for the transmission cooler? Any suggestions?
