Hey folks,

This is our first boat, a 1972 SRV 190 with a 455 Olds and a Berkely Jet pump. The boat is in really good shape for a 47 year old rig. The floor has a few spots that will be getting attention this winter.

It is white with the avacado green interior. The seats are missing, so we bought a new set of Wise back to back seats in white. We are planning on doing a color change on the interior to a dove grey.

I will keep a build thread going once I start. Just going to enjoy it for the summer!! Likely mostly on Lake Huron.

Here she is, from what I can gather, the jet option is pretty rare. All the other ones I've seen have an I/O.

Wow. I have the same boat but with a Mercruiser 165. I can't imagine what your boat must do with a 455. By the way, I installed Wise lounge seats and I was very disappointed. After 6 years they are falling apart. I might also be cautious about white seats. White vinyl seats are prone to pinking (see here https://www.proboat.com/2017/11/mystery-solved-case-pink-stain-vinyl/ I put in two white seats in the stern area on either side of the engine. I ended up dying them dark blue to get rid of the pinking.

Anyhow, beautiful boat. Love mine. I think you will really enjoy yours.

You might make sure those drill holes in your transom are full sealed w a 5200 type product.

I have the 1970 SRV180 w 2.5L. I can do almost 35mph at full spec rpm! Lol.
