We fly into Stockholm usually twice per year, always from the south and right over the hundreds of islands on the arrival. The beauty of that area is phenomenal, to the point I usually have the other guy fly so I can gaze out the windows and take in the scenery. I can only imagine how amazing it must be on a boat during the summer there.

I also noted while walking around some of the marinas on the waterways in the city, the sheer volume of wood boats is like no other place I've been. Every shape, size, configuration - there's clearly a love of all things wood when it comes to boating in that area.

Beautiful but those underwater rocks would give me great concern. +1 for local knowledge.

Hejsan Roland!

Thanks for the great pictures!

Years ago, visiting some SAS pilot friends, we took a beautiful cruise through the Archepelago from Downtown Stockholm to Vauxholm for dinner and back. Great views!!

Vänliga hälsninga,

Carter

I usually go to Vaxholm and have lunch or dinner. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from my port
