wanting to update the badging/logo on my 2000 380 DA

Would like to go with the chrome raised letters "Sundancer" and "Three eighty"
Instead of the numbers 380 and the "sun"dancer logo

Any feedback and pics of what you have updated or for the people with the newer badging would be great

Thanks in advance

You can buy new logos at any MMax location. Only problem is that in some cases new logos wont cover outline left by old one. Wet sanding and polishing old outline may help but sometimes discoloration is more permanent.

Ill be doing this as well this winter, except THREE EIGHTY.
I did just see this in another group where someone posted a link to raised lettering will try and find it.

Lol, been sick for a week, that's what I want, three eighty....
Fixed the original post

Thank you

Consider losing the chrome raised stuff and go with high quality decals if you must have logos. LOTS easier to detail when you are not dodging raised trinkets with a buffer. Our Tiara had no logos on fiberglass and it was a breeze to polish and wax. The logos add work not value.

I had raised letter Chrome Sea Ray logo on the side of my boat until it was knocked off when a wake from a water skier rocked the boat and it got caught on the edge of the dock.
I just got new ones from E Bay but I never thought about decals.
If it doesn’t cost too much I will look into using the new logo as a template to have decals made.
I haven’t put them on yet and don’t even know if they will be an exact fit. (Boat in storage)

I am not looking to raise the value of the boat, I haven't ever did an upgrade to raise the value, it's been because I want this or that upgrade. Boats, in general are not an investment imo, it's a hobby

I like the way it looks, that is why I would like to add the raised chrome lettering

When I redid mine, I used the raised, vinyl letters (gel-like feel) that Sea Ray used on some models, along with having a local sign shop make the vinyl "two-sixty" in script for me.

If you look through Sea Ray's archives and find the latest model that has the style you want, I'll check to see if it's still available from Sea Ray for you. Otherwise, google for "domed lettering" and "chromax lettering" and you can probably find a company that will make what you want. The "chromax" is the thing you are originally asking about, but using the term "domed" might find you the company that can do the Chromax, too.

Guys, that looks great. Where did you find the large oval black and chrome logo? Ebay? size?

Ebay for me. If you've got the deeper pockets you get the "Yacht" version like 401k did...to the tune if $250 per side if I recall correctly. I just couldn't do it...but wanted to :)

I believe these are just shy of 12" on the long side. The biggest you'll find.

While the raised letters look fantastic, you can achieve a really great look with vinyl too.
A good sign shop can make up what you want and a little tape over it when polishing with a machine makes it last a long time.

EBay for me too. Lettering from chromeemblems.com, based on seeing Chris's earlier post - Thanks Chris!

For the letters, do you know what size you ordered?
Also, I assume they are assembled together, or are they individual letters I have to do the spacing/alignment?
