Calling all 360 DA owners

You have a house bank? My 2003 only has PORT/STBD banks. I have not not run down which one supplies the house power.
I also have not figured which set of batteries are the house ones. Mine also are tagged Port and Star. Normally the boats are set up for house and dedicated starting batteries so that the boat will always start. Hopefully someone will read this and educate us on how these are wired.

My 2006 also only has STBD and Port banks with no separate House or Bow Thruster batteries. This is my first season with the boat and I also have not checked to see what runs from each side but we were anchored out on Sat for about 6 hours with both fridges, freezer and stereo. I checked the voltage status of the batteries every few hours and were always above 12V.

I have the large fridge freezer in the salon that draws about 75 watts and a cockpit fridge that draws 35 watts

i usually try to start the genny after 8 hours are so, i seem to get to about 12 volts on my starboard bank... never had an issue on my port bank

i may switch my cockpit fridge over to the port to even them out....

I have a large under counter fridge and separate freezer in the galley and smaller fridge in the cockpit but haven't checked what they draw. I don't think the compressor on the freezer is working since it doesn't get cold so maybe drawing less than a functional unit.

Tripsdad, I just replaced my Freezer powersupply and it works strong; $85.00 and easy fix. Same power supply as frig so you can test with that one prior to purchase.

Did your freezer run at all before you replaced the power supply? Mine runs but just won't get cold enough and I can't turn it off with the switch which also controls the temp so I'm thinking it might be that control. How hard was it to remove the freezer?

Never thought to check the age of the plugs - or that they might have an impact. Good point Bottom Line. I'll look at that this weekend now.

Team PCBeach - love the faucet for the cockpit sink. Been looking for a replacement for a while now. Just ordered off of Amazon. Will arrive tomorrow. Another weekend project! Fun stuff!

Mine would not cool, blinked light on and off. Again plug your freezer into the freg supply. You will know in 5 min. Freezer comes out with 4 screws takes 2 min. To come out.

For you guys with Westerbeke generators, what spark plugs are you using? I may change mine myself, but access looks to be a PITA.

Only a weekend project if you want an excuse to be on the boat. 15 minutes tops including removing the old one. Only tool needed is a channel lock to tighten the faucet nut. Hose is a hand nut.

Thanks! Faucet arrived today as promised. Ready to install Friday!

Just purchased 2005 360 sundancer 8.1 horizons with 7.3 Kohler generator. Had generator running last week and quit and now will crank with no spark. Followed the diagram and says I do not have continuity between P1-8 and p1-14. check all the wires and continuity all the way throughout but still no 12v. I have changed just changed the control board and the k20 relay has 12 v so not sure where to go next. any suggestions?

Update on Kohler 7.3 generator. So ended up being multiple problems. Circuit board gm10516 needed replacing (watch out ebay will send 239563, not good blown power inverter (p and d marine 290$)and start stop switch(west marine 15$, thanks two to 2 Tony's marine in a pinch). Also huge thanks to Mark's mobile maint pcola and Travis at p and d marine orange beach(tons kohler parts on hand). Genny is up and running smooth and cruising with ac is nice! Pics soon

I am having issues with my freezer. Some weekends it has been cold and some weekends not working at all. I had a guy look at it and he put on a new control module, but said the freezer had no power....so still not cooling. Is the power supply you replaced mounted on behind the freezer? Mounted behind my freezer is a MPS-50, and I’m wondering if it is working intermittently.....it has a clicking sound, which I haven’t noticed before. Is this the power supply you replaced?

Yes the MPS-50 will be your power supply. Easiest way to test if your power supply is cactus is to pull your power supply feed off your control module and run a 12 volt feed directly to your control module. If all works with the direct feed then it's your power supply.
