Unknown Thru-hull fitting - 93 200 OV

I recently purchased a 93 200 Overnighter and have been fixing it up & learning what I can about it. One of the things I can't figure out is what this thru-hull fitting is. Despite the size of the fitting the actual hole thru is maybe on 1/8" in diameter.

Any idea what it is?

guessing a compartment fill and/or drain.but below the water line it should be Bronze or SS

In the picture, the hole looks larger than 1/8"?

Is that below or above the floor and where is it located compared to where the cabin is?

Although it does look like a typical drain, there shouldn't be any drain from a compartment in that location - that's a very strange location, for sure.

Covering up a hole that was drilled to drain a water logged hull?

To answer your question it's about level with the cabin floor, maybe slightly above.

I took a closer look at it today and what I thought was a neck down from ~3/4" to 1/8" was really just compacted sand/dirt. After cleaning it out it appears as if the fitting is connected to a hose on the other side. It was a bit late when I checked, so I'll have to look a bit more into it tomorrow.
 
Maybe a previous owner added a cabin floor drain. 'Course, that could double as a seawater drain... back INTO the cabin, too! ;)
 
Thanks guys, turns out it's just a drain for the deck cooler/container. The tube connecting them was just so clogged with sand/dirt that it was draining initially. Now it's all cleaned out.
