Hi guys,

I'm new to boating and recently purchased a 2008 Sea Ray SLX270, Mercruiser 6.2MPI.

I'm currently in the midst of restoring the boat and I'm having some issue with my gauges. Basically apart from the RPM meter, the rest of the gauges is not working, eg temp, pressure, speed, fuel. I'm looking to replace them but my local dealer told me that it is currently out of stock. I've waited about 4 weeks and it is still out of stock.

So my question is, I saw some that comes in the same size as my original ones on Amazon, can I buy them to replace my original Sea Ray gauges? Because according to my mechanic, I got to use back the Mercruiser ones.

I saw some other OEM gauges online, but I'm not sure if they work with my boat, can anyone please advise me on this?

PS: I'm from Singapore. I've gotten mechanic to check, the gauges is broken, wiring are all properly connected.

Can you take a picture of the back of the gauges? There are digital and analog gauges, so you need to know which before you order a replacement.

The digital Mercury SmartCraft system uses "link" gauges are all connected to the main gauge (usually the tachometer). If the tachometer's digital output or the first gauge in the link went bad, you would lose the rest of the gauges downstream.

Thank you for the reply! Let me take a picture of it later and post it!
