Norcold replay340 sundancer

Morning Doc-what's the problem? I've switched out both galley and cockpit fridge-should be just plug and play-just need to know to help:)

I was told by some that the replacement door was not removable and the size was a bit bigger and wouldn’t fit? I have not pulled it out as west marine is back ordered on the Norcold. Did you need to remove the cabin door ? Mine is 2002 and I would like to use the cherry wood door panel if possible also. Thanks so much- Jeff

Morning Jeff-Do you have the model number for your galley fridge? I replaced my with the same Norcold model NR751-i bought the stainless steel front panel-your unit front panel can be removed and can be reused if it's the same model number- is the current one not working anymore? go on the Norcold web site -see what model and dimension you need-should you have the owners manual that would be helpful-I didn't need to remove anything to take fridge out-but if you need to remove fridge door just a few screws-I was lucky West Marine found one in San Diego for me-otherwise i would still be using a small portable AC only fridge in the empty space-if you have to wait-I would suggest you do that and still enjoy the boat- hope this helps-keep me posted:)

Thank you. I have the de- 441 but I think the new de 0041 replacement is wider and wouldn’t go through the door way. I’m looking at the Vitrifrigo as one member swapped his out and they make a trim kit for the Norcold. Mine is a 2002 340. I just don’t want to get the new one here and won’t fit. It seem the sliding door must come out too. I think it’s 4 screws on the top track. Did you need to remove your sliding door? I’ll look for that model to compare.

I didn't have to remove the sliding door thank goodness-Vitifrigo has great product-just remove the current fridge-measure it all up or get the measurements from Norcold web site-either product you need to know the the space at the sliding door opening-seems if you remove your current fridge door should come right out also you can remove Vitifrigo fridge door easy enough and then reinstall door-i would not mess with the sliding door unless you have no other choice

Great, I am gathering dimensions from my manual on Norcold and comparing yo Vitrifrigo which is a bit smaller. The sliding door on my 2002 does curve in a bit If the flange and door will come off the new unit I should just make it. I’ll take a few pics to help the next skipper! Thank you.
