I have a 1998 Sea Ray 400 DA and the fridge has quit working....maybe. I have had the boat for 8 years and never had one issue with it. In the last 2 weeks it has been sea trialed, mechanically inspected and surveyed. Now the fridge does not work. The light comes on in front with battery or 120v, but it doesn't cool and I don't hear the compressor running. I was on the boat less than 2 weeks ago and it was working fine. I saw a few threads on here discussing them and one talked about cleaning the circuit boards and connections. I assume I pull the bottom panel off where the green light is to access the circuits? Any advice or direction is appreciated.

Not 100% shore but i think you may have to pull it out to access the circuit boards:(

Does it cool on 12 V? Mine worked on 12V but not 120V AC. had to replace the converter, not too expensive

All it does is hum in either mode. Worked fine last week. They pulled it out, did a survey and now it doesn’t work.

From what I've read about these beasts....offer the buyer $1500 off the price of the boat and be thankful you don't have to be the one to replace it :)

That would be my position if it comes to that. Although, I think (not sure yet) when the survey was completed it was fine.
