I recently bought a 1995 Sea Ray 220 Signature Select Overnighter. The interior is mint, but the exterior needs polishing. Before I polish, I want to see if I can order replacement vinyl decals.

Can anyone in this group point me in the right direction? I have done research but have been unsuccessful.

I found some on EBay including model numbers the Sundancer logo. All looked original once installed.

To remove, be a heat gun (don’t waste time with a hair dryer) and a box of plastic razor blades. Heat till easily scraped off.

To reinstall watch a couple videos, but use water to float the decals into place then allow to dry.

I saw the Sundancer logos on Ebay, but unfortunately anything that matches my current decals for my Overnighter. I have called all of the dealerships in my area to see if they had contact information for a Sea Ray rep for more direction.

The vinyl graphics on the side of the hull are going to be very hard, if not impossible to find. They haven't been available through Sea Ray for ages so your only hope (and it's l-o-n-g shot) is to just google around. But again, it's most likely going to be all for not.

You might want to snap some pics and record general dimensions as you might find your only avenue is to have them made by a local sign/graphics shop. You could also consider going w/o the graphics (there will be some "ghosting", though). Or, talk with a grpahics shop and design your own graphics. There's no reason you couldn't make this boat more "your own", rather than what the Sea Ray designers came up with.

Another option is to look at newer Sea Rays (or even other manufacturers) to see what's available and if it interests you. Look within the last 3 or 4 years and most likely they would still be available for purchase through a dealer. The last year or two, definitely.

Thank you so much! These are great ideas and I will put them to use.

I should mention I had a couple of the ebay items produced from pictures and measurements, and I think custom made/tweaked. Probably could be done locally as well. Send some emails to the people doing the other Sea ray decals, they will at least be familiar with the fonts/colors.

Also - and this is a long shot, but if you can find a Marine Max that has been around for a long time, you might be able to get some from them. I was lucky with a Marine Max in Long Island for just that, they also had the 3D Sea Ray plaques as well. But they are out of bis now.
