Were you able to keep your radar? I have a 2007 44DA with 120's and Raymarine open array radar and was hoping to upgrade the MFDs without changing the radar too.

Depends if your radar is analog or digital (E120 could use either). If it’s analog, you’ll have to replace it as the new MFDs use digital radar only.

Look at where the cable enters the back of the radar gearbox. If it’s a gland with the cable going directly inside the gearbox, it’s analog. If the cable has a connector that plugs into the back of the gearbox, it’s digital.

My 2006 44’ had an analog radar for what it’s worth. Your 2007 may be either...

I think for the e165s that's not correct.
