Today, Sea Ray launched the all-new Sundancer 370. This is an important milestone as this new model carries with it the new Sea Ray Design Language.

If you missed the launch video, you can check it out here:

Very nicely done video. My wife was impressed by the chosen celebrities. She's ready to sign up.

I'd love to see one in person once we can get back to having real boat shows again. With that open bow arrangement I wonder how we could manage tenders? Not sure I can davit the 'ole Walker Bay up onto the roof :)

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the response! We've got a 360 virtual walkthrough of the boat (self navigated) on this page: https://www.searay.com/us/en/models/sundancer-series/sundancer-370-outboard.html that should help until you can see one in person. I see that you're in Michigan - we're planning to have the boat in Detroit in early August.

Thanks for sharing, and welcome to CSR!

I had not been a big fan of the styling of new SeaRays, was attached to the older early 2000's styling. I always liked that a SeaRay, whether 18ft or 50ft carried the same lines - you new it was a SeaRay from a mile away. But I have to say I like this one!

Starting with the 320 new styling I was hooked. A traditional cruiser doesn’t work for us any more, so we started doing large day boats instead. However, the head on these boats although functional is a weak point. The 320 now the 370 combines the cabin and head space of a cruiser with the cockpit and bow space of the day boats. Good combination for us. And I ordered our current boat with an outboard and I don’t see ever going back to IO power. This new style is on our “next boat” list.
I was fortunate to tour the factory when our boat was built and spent time with Brad, Velvet and Ritch, and met many floor production folks. Great trip.

Great to meet you Paul. I appreciate the feedback and I agree with your take on boating. The bow space is really a game changer for the family and personally, my favorite spot to sit on the 320 and now the 370.

Seems light for the cost of the outboard. Shoot, if you build your own on Sea Ray's website they are charging $2,000 per outboard to switch to the white engine covers. $6k option...for engine covers....

300 hp is $25k, 400 is $35k, 600hp is $77k.
so buy 3 300 hp and still pay less than 1 600hp I'd rather put in an electric motor than that and still have money left for the solar panels to charge them. (of course that's also why I have a 24 footer as opposed to 40

What exactly is the new Sea Ray Design Language you mentioned?

What exactly is the new Sea Ray Design Language you mentioned?
Design Language as a whole is related to visual queues that every model will have. In Automotive for example, with may brands, you'll be able to tell the brand based on the shape of the headlights or front-end. It is the same process for marine. This article speaks to the partnership with BMW Design Works on the new Sea Ray design language: https://germancarforum.com/threads/...sea-ray-to-develop-new-design-language.61946/
