Shelby, if this is the future market plan for Sea Ray, you missed the mark. Nearly a million dollar boat? You abandoned the market that made you great. Good luck selling 5 a year. Bought a 87 268 loaded for $36k, thats $92k today and you built a bazillion of them. Now you targeting the $million market. Good luck.

I think most/all of the new boats in this range will carry a very similar price tag. Formula, Cruisers, etc. Sea Ray is not unique in the barriers to entry of this market...and these size boats have been this expensive for a while now.

If you think this level of pricing is insane you should go price out a new 40-42 foot Scout CC. At least Sea Ray let's you think you might spend a night or two on it for $1M....
