Sitting here at my desk watching my shrinkwrap take a beating with the high winds via my webcam at the boat. I want to turn it off as I can also hear every bit of it but I have to watch. Was hoping to cut the shrinkwrap next week but if the wind has its way this may be coming down sooner. Winds supposed to die down in the afternoon so fingers crossed.

Up here I wouldn't remove the wrap for a while. We often have a last season snow that's heavy and wet. Making a door or a flap in the back to do some inside work is a different story. I did that last year and it was nice and cozy! Got a lot done before the wrap came off.

Didn't wrap my boat this year because it wintered in a slip in South Carolina. Hoping to bring it up the last week of March!

Are usually pull it off end of March. I use the weekends in March to get all the stuff done under wraps when the sun heats it up like a greenhouse. Then pull it off to do all the exterior work. If I get a warm day in March I can still do bottom pain.

I plan on throwing the heat seacock this weekend or next!

The plan is to take the shrink wrap off on April 1.

We are indoors so no shrink wrap, but we've got an April 1 launch date.

Pretty soon I'm going to have to be down at the harbor with a heat gun trying to melt the ice...

I'm April 16th. Which building are you in? I'm way in the back - far NW building.

Well my shrink-wrap survived todays wind gust here in the NE. My ridge supports is slightly off kilt so will go down this evening to see if i can re-adjust. Not ready to take the wrap off just yet but counting down for 3/13!

@Steve S LIFO, baby! Front row of the south building (offsite). Just need the ice to melt - water was still pretty hard when I was up there last weekend.

I'm only one boat from the door... What I meant was the building way in the back... LOL

10-4 on the ice...

Tomorrow! Can’t wait. It’s a milestone. Winter is over in my mind once the cover is off. We need to get in the water and move the boat to the Northeast River by 4/10. We’re scheduled to get new canvas! Bottom paint before we go in though

I usually launch May. Shrinkwrap comes off about 30 min before hauler shows up. Pollen in the spring makes a mess quickly.

I Plan to drop her in this weekend on 3-12 if the concrete passes inspection on Friday since I'm here in N Alabama
