Well Californication has done pounded another nail in the coffin!

there is approx 100 miles of wall in that roughly $100M stock pile.... a $1M/mile ....some one made out like a bandit
And to think some people are worked up about the drug company revenue coming from the government. I guess if it’s a cause close to one’s heart the $$$ don’t matter.

Look at Boise Idaho for instance. Now all over the west the indigenous locals hate the transplanted ex Californians. They paint us all with the same brush.
Growing up through the Sixties and Seventies in Boise, we used to regularly badmouth California drivers and hoped they wouldn't bring their voting habits to Idaho. While I still wish for that, it seems that the latest batch of Californians are not so much invading Idaho as escaping California and its insanity. To those of you; welcome. All I ask is that you understand why Idaho is the way it is, and leave it that way.
Have you seen the map of the 51st state where California was going to be split? As if it's any surprise, it carves-out the coastal towns from the rest of the state. As with Oregon and Washington, some of the most conservative people I know are from the eastern halves of those states. But, seeing as there's strength in numbers, the states are ruled by the big cities and all the baggage that comes with that.

I see an opportunity here. Stock up on gas powered equipment now and make a mint after the law goes in affect.....
Totally agree, but you know what they will do next, they will audit us for the $600 transactions. Next the our cash tender will say, in science we trust...

PA is like that. Look at an election map. 95% of the counties are red with Pittsburgh and Philly areas the only blue (except Erie and a couple of others). The state does not get represented geographically come election time, but rather socio-economically. The inner cities with no money wins the vote every election while the rest of the state gets ignored

that's the 3rd reason on why I left PA

There are and will forever be people who will ship contraband to Ca no matter what laws they pass.
ship the item to "X" state and then ship to you in Ca. Works every time.

When was the last time in Star? Emmett? How about the farm land that used to be between them? From the 84 all the way to Emmett is Kalipornia. Star city counsel is 100%. And all the way to the highway almost to Caldwell. I know of three families that moved from Star because of it. Came in and got on the counsel. Then changed the city to be exactly what they said they left. I worked on two roads and the housing development that was from land taken away from the farmer. All because the land would connect the back side of Star to the highway to Emmett.

And that's the reason I'm on my way up North. No, not Coeur d'Alene; further.

I love the Sand Lake area. Actually everything from Coeur d'Alene north is awesome. All but the snow. I despise the snow. And the thought of 6' storms rolling through in less than 8 hours is a no go for me. I'm only this far north to care for my father. Otherwise I be in the SW area.

the US should peel off CA, then they would morf into a 3rd world country. ;)

Seems like they’re pushing you guys to switch to hydrogen fuel cells. It is a potentially good solution, if the price can be reasonable.

Not sure why so many of you hate democracy so much. California has a majority of democratic voters that seem to want what they have. And they voted in who they wanted. Its a free country, so if you don't like it, you can move to another state. Or, get off your a$$ and try to get elected and convince a majority to vote for what you want in your state.

Same for Florida. The majority want Republican leaders and that is what they have. If the majority decided to change to vote for democrats, that would change, and that is exactly what your beautiful constitution would say was what is the best for the state or the country.

Personally I really hope that the GOP stops pandering to extreme views, realizes that you need to win in the middle, not the extreme. Its not the ranting and chanting sheep that attend Trump or Biden rallies that win the elections. Its the majority of people that have both conservative and liberal views, but have to pick a side when they vote. Call right-leaning on the fence democrats idiots on national TV while your sheep chant your meme slogans, and you lose potential votes. That was, and still is, what Trump thinks is the way to win again.

Yikes…. You missed the boat again… but carry on

There you go again. “Democracy” is the quickest way to self destruction there is. When 51% realize they can vote to be lazy and make the other 49% pay, you’re doomed. That’s why our founders didn’t adopt a democracy.

Amen @Golfman. Those of us native Californians that lean conservative and support the republicans are not opposed to democracy @Creekwood, we are opposed to socialism where the Democrats are taking us. They are so blinded by their unicorn hunt in the name of fairness and equity that they can't see the cliff they are driving the state over.
Carpe Diem.

AND, don't forget the new laws that CA's wonderful governor/CA's congress passed that remove owner/operator trucking companies (I.E. NON-Union drivers) and force trucking companies to drive trucks newer than 2011 and go all electric by 2035. You've all seen electric semi's right? Oh wait, they are unicorns! That is what is causing the backup of the container ships in Long Beach and other ports in CA. Of course, that's not in the media anywhere either.....
