New to CSR

Welcome back! This is a great group of people.

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

Hope your search yields a great "new to you" Sea Ray.
You'll find lots of detailed support for whatever model you're looking for here on CSR

Welcome from Idaho! Great bunch of folks here with lots of good info available to you.

The search has ended...hopefully. 2004 390 da. The boat is in excellent condition with many upgrades in canvas, flooring, electronics over the last couple of years. Survey on Friday. I really don't anticipate any problems. It had a survey in 2018 and passed with zero concerns and I think the current owner has only improved on the boat condition since he acquired it. Why is it up for sale? He wants a bigger SeaRay (2 heads and a more private 2nd berth). I have this posted in the 390 da area but I figured I'd update my first post.

Diesel or gas? Fingers, toes and eyes crossed she passes with flying colors. Note, I said the exact same before sea trialing the last boat I had under contract. The starboard engine shut down while trying to get up on plane. After many attempts to restart on the water and back at the dock (fuel water separator was full of trash and water, switched to the other fuel tank, blew out the fuel rail, etc.), I walked away. Seller was actually mad at me. He later called me to state, prior to me looking at the boat, he had run the starboard fuel tank dry, then filled it back up. Shop cleaned the tank post sea trial, still had issues.

8.1's They'll be fine for my intended use. Already had it for a quick run in the bay last weekend. Running smooth.

They'd be fine for my use as well, and it's what I am looking for on the next boat. The one's I mentioned were MerCruiser 8.1 HOs.

Congrats, looks beautiful. Hope the sea trail works out well.

Today's the day. I'll officially own this afternoon. Of course, they are talking about snow next week. It's going into inside heated storage Monday. The company actually gets the boat and transports it to the marina with a ramp in Port Clinton and then a trailer ride a couple of miles inland. Already looking forward to April. It'll end up in this well in Belle Maer. The Cobia is going up for sale in the spring once the rack storage opens up. Yes there's a 390 two wells over. He's a renter so I'm not sure if he'll be around next year.

Jus Cruisin, congrats on your boat. We are attempting to get into Bell Maer next year, but need to wait until early January to see if we get the call of an open well.

Good luck with a well. We were in Belle Maer shortly after it changed from Blue Lagoon many years ago. We were the first group of "dockominium" owners there. Sold it and moved to Florida and after 27 years down there we moved back 2 years ago. Bought the Cobia and kept it at Anchor Bay Marina. It just wasn't what we wanted and found a well for sale at Belle Maer and here we are.

Welcome back! What's the price to purchase a well? I'm on the other side of the state on Lake Michigan and most marinas around here do a seasonal lease, around $3,000 for a 40' slip.
