We got out this morning to do the whole naming ceremony and unveiling as the letters were installed yesterday. I designed it, with the approval process going through the Admiral of course! Paris is where we spent our honeymoon and many a vacation since, and well ..it's one of our favorite places. I'm sure we'll be cruising on Paris more than going back to the city of Paris, but we'll still be in Paris even though we're boating on Paris ..right? Um ..sure. Anyway, we like it!

nice boat-good luck

please explain the gadget on the swim platform, I have never seen this before. Is it a davit or something that lifts the motor off the dink or is an assist for a weaver leaver.?

Thanks Gofirstclass ..and I really like your 550 SB. I could see one of those in our future ...one day.

Sublimetime thank you, and that is a Seawise power davit system for the dinghy that came with the boat: http://seawisemarine.com

Thank you importmonkey! Most of the credit goes to the wife of course.

LOVE the swooping look of Sea Ray!!! Beautiful boat!!!

Looks great!

Great name, and the 340Da is easily the best searay ever made. This model is why i am a searay owner.....Best of luck.

Thanks guys!

Thank you ...we’re really looking forward to our first full season boating with it ..but that 48 of yours. That is a life goal right there. :-D

Very Nice clean look. I have always been curious though, when boats that have their dinghies raised like you have, doesn’t the Coast Guard have to have a clear visual of the boats name and hailing port?
I have seen some put the boats name on the bottom of the dinghy as well.
You have a nice looking boat and I love the picture with the mountains!

Thank you. British Columbia is a beautiful place and we’re fortunate to get to live and boat here.

To answer your question, yes I’m planning on putting it on the bottom of the dinghy this spring. The dinghy needs a little TLC including fresh paint on the bottom, so once that’s done I’ll apply it there. That said I see boats up here with similar configurations all the time that don’t have this done, and they don’t seem to get bothered. But technically you are correct.

New here. Awesome boat. All I can say is, Life Goals! who knows what the future may hold.

Hey thanks a lot. I feel the same way about the guys on here with the 45-48 'dancers, but we're pretty happy with this for the foreseeable future. When I was a kid I tooled around in my grandpa's 10ft dinghy with a 10hp engine. I thought the guys with the 20ft Bayliners that you could actually sleep on were incredible.
