Very nice! How long of a wait is it for a slip? It will only cost me 12 years membership and take a year to get out there, what an adventure... Of course I can probably ship for half that..
Come on out and I'll have a slip reserved for you !!!

Mark, good luck with that. Our club, which BTW is a reciprocal moorage club with yours, has an open house every spring. It's a lot of fun, bbq's, dock parties, band, etc.

We like the place and stop in once a year for dinner. If you make a reservation they put your name on menu with the specials. We have always had good food. I think Thursday is cook your own steak night. Did that once but the specials are always better.
There is a pump out on the public dock by the ferry terminal.

We become members 12 years ago and have not regretted it once. TYC has 8 outstations from Olympia to Deer Harbor, where we can tie up for free and for us that is a savings of $50 to $100 per night. The clubhouse is one of two yacht clubs north of San Franciso that have a fulltime restaurant & bar open (Seattle Yacht Club would be the other). The club has a very active cruising schedule and social events at the clubhouse.

What is initiation fee, dues, slip fees, slip sizes available and wait time for a slip.

We do not keep our boat at the clubhouse, we are at a marina 5 minutes from our home...

I boat on the Great Lakes (well Lake St. Clair). One of my favorite You Tube videos is a boat called Orca that boats out of the Seattle area. It looks like a great area to boat - lots of Sea Rays too. A few questions. Are there any sharks around there? And I take it you don't swim in the waters too much due to the cold water? And do you ever venture out into the Pacific (heard it's the roughest water anywhere). But it looks really nice!!!
Thanks

1) No dangerous sharks ( I scuba dive )
2) In some areas in the shallow tidal pools water can exceed 70 degrees, but for the most part, it has to be over 80 for us to swim in it.
3) I have not been out in the open ocean & I have friends have run their new purchase boats from Calif. up to Seattle and have taken a pretty good beating... (we had ours trucked up)
4) We are blessed here with the Puget Sound / Salish Sea and all of the protected water we have...
5) Please see attached chart.
