I am about to install a dedicated Victron 2000 multi inverter / charger with a 206 ah Lithium battery in the port bedroom cabinet. This will run both the Frig and Freezer plus the KVH sat, dish Wally and small TV. Interested to hear if anyone else has done a similar project?

Again yes welcome Bihnge Worthy, I also stepped up to a 360 this past summer. Few more issues to fix than I expected but with the help of these guys most if not all of my projects are taken care of. Have saved well over $1,000 due to tips and tricks. These guys are GREAT!!!!

Great question: It is a bit different sized. I used a piece of black plastic and cut a square just larger that the 5000 size and mounted the 403 into it and then mounted the new unit to my dash. Lastly you then need to open the current dash hole up about a 1/4" to get the 403 to drop in. Sadly...

Winterized completed yesterday. Made a bypass hose for hot water heater yesterday. Drained water heater but it did not flow into the engine compartment. Drain to engine compartment must be plugged. There is a drain hole port in the area?

Just off the phone with Mercury Marine 4th tech person; he said the 403 does not need to be installed with the NMEA2k. I will attempt to only connect one motor to the 403 and see if data is active. If this works then I can add a second J-Box and move the Port engine wiring to that box. Would...

NMEA 2000 Starter Kit (8M0110642). Who has installed one of these to update electronics? I am installing a Vessel View 403 and it must be installed with the NMEA interface. Pretty sure my Raymarine RC520 will also connect to the NMEA. Double checking that my boat does not have the NMEA 2000...

If clicking it is bad, you can also plug in the frig power for 10 min test the freezer. Just went through this issue last month.

This week installing a VV 403 which does not support my analog top 4 gauges. Tach's, and mult gauge that displays battery, fuel, temp, oil pressure. Ordering the 6 port J-box and will plug in my 5000 behind the dash so the 4 gauges become active once again.
