I was told that on the QSM 11's people are having to change the exhaust manifolds every 4-5 years due to wear and corrosion where it mates to the block causing leaks that are evident by the soot streaks. Is this also the case for the QSC 8.3's?
And on the QSC 8.3 540hp are there any weaknesses...
it's interesting to see the different amounts of exposed shaft beyond the dripless seal. Looks like you have about an inch and half? I'd wag a guess at mine being about six inches or a little more.
They did. And when I went back this year I was not fined or talked to about not clearing outbound. Unless it changed back to requiring the clearing out this year and I missed it it is still no longer required. I hope I didn’t miss it because not only will I deal with it next summers trip, but...
We are going to try to make Exumas next year in July, but if something changes we will try at least to go back to North Eleuthera and Spanish Wells. Maybe we’ll get to see you all.

I’ll second about the bottom of the backs held down by very strong Velcro. Pull hard on bottom and once the Velcro lets go, lift up as there are two pins that hold the top in place.
We keep her behind my house on the St John’s River(fresh water). We’re very fortunate and blessed in that regard as it is super convenient for upkeep and last minute trips.
