I'm in! There is nothing quite like meals on the boat, even if it's at the dock!

It was -15 here at our place, but we are just North of Branson up on a ridge, off hwy 160. Most of Branson (and I think the lake) was -10. I sent my two teenagers out on the back deck with a gallon pitcher of boiling water to toss into the air and watch it vaporize.

It's currently 42.5 F on the surface. It's dropped 3 degrees this week alone.

My slip neighbor uses a bilge heater and puts a small ceramic heater in the cabin in their boat. Makes me nervous for them. Two engines and a genny in these temps is a lot to cover with a little bilge heater.

That is for sure! Anyone that didn't winterize is going to be sorry!

I hear ya there. We will probably go to the boat tomorrow and get some stuff off for winter and clean/cover the cockpit. Hopefully we’ll get a couple nice days in the next few weeks. If not, then winterize.

I’ll probably winterize mid-November or so depending on the weather. I try and hold out as long as I can as we will still get out and about some. Once the lows get down near freezing consistently, that’s when I really get after it.

I had disconnected the lower shift cable from the linkage by the riser and the control cable and throttle cable worked as they should. I put the tensioner nut in the slot and could not manually manipulate the cable. I suspect that when the RPMs were up and it lurched into gear that the cone...

Trim Tab Advice Needed - 280 Sundancer

This is probably best posted in the Bennett Trim Tab forum, though I’d bet @Tabman will chime in with some guidance.

Wow. Just... wow. I can fix a lot of things, but I still cannot fix stupid. This year has been a banner year for it on the lake with all the new boaters. I’m all for people getting into boating, but the “kiss and ship” mentality from the dealers is disturbing. But I digress. We want to make a...

Bravo III Stuck In Forward Gear - Resolved Today

Thought I would share this experience here and get some input. I’ve got plenty of experience over the years working on Alpha drives, but this is my first Bravo drive. Yesterday we were out and I slowed to idle for some really big wake. After we were through it, I started to throttle up and the...

Man, what a great weekend! We went out for a little bit yesterday to meet some friends and then we went out today with our dock neighbors to hang out and watch the Chiefs game. Spent the day in Coombs Ferry and today was just incredible weather. The water was a couple degrees warmer (75 F) than...

That will be a nice contrast to the Mayse boat and that Carver C52. Is guess the 58 Sedan Bridge will be at SPM or the Harbor?

    Table Rock Lake

The last few weekends we have been staying on the boat, as the nights have been nice and we don't have A/C. We won't be out this coming weekend as our youngest has a school band event and Sunday the Admiral wants to visit Silver Dollar City. Hoping next week gets a bit warmer! We may go out for...

    Big Tech Controlling Medical Infomation...

Thanks for the well wishes El Cap, I appreciate it! All is well and being managed accordingly, so I’m all good for now! It was just difficult to get answers at first due to bad info. I wasn’t generalizing as much as providing my opinion based off my experiences and those of people I have talked...
