The screw in the back for me was a stopping screw. Meaning, I would push the TV on the wood plate to the screw in the back, then tighten the front two screws. Now, I can't tell you if the back screw missed the mark of the wood base, or was only a stopping point. Either way, it worked for me.
I will tell you, I've grown up on the water. I've heard many people say a real captain doesn't need a bow thruster. However, for me, boating on the coast where we deal with both wind and current, a thruster is VERY nice. If on a lake, maybe not. But I sure wouldn't turn one down.
Mine were 9. However on one of the changes, one motor took 9.5. I think that somewhere in those 9 quarts, I really didn't get the full 9 quarts. As I said, it only happened once.
