Just wanted to give a quick update....JimG and I just finished replacing the stern thruster control box with a new one and the problem is resolved. The new one cost $200 from a U.S. Distributor in South Florida. It was a simple swap- out and sure beats the alternative of pulling the thruster...

No I have not looked at the control box....I did notice a small black box under the dash that said max-power on it...had a couple wires coming out with 5 amp fuses...one was labeled bow thruster and the other one labeled stern thruster. I have not removed the cover on the box to see what is...
