I have a 2006 sundancer 38 with internal transmission and I want to install the Sterndrives transmission; my hull has two channels to guide the water to the propellers I ask? To install Sterndrives, do I have to fill these channels?

I own 7 boats in various brands my favorite the SeaRay 38 with two Mercruiser engines
