Has to sit and cool down for 30 minutes the fires back up. I have changed just about everything and still no luck from fuel pump to tune up

After running half throttle for 20 or so minutes engine stutters and dies . Won’t start up for 30 min and problem repeats itself . Scratching my head on this

Have a 89 Sea Ray Seville w 4.3L I/O . After crushing for 30-40 min . Engine seems to misfire , backfires then dies . Have to wait 30 min and it starts up again. Only to repeat the cutting out after another 30 min . I have replaced the fuel pump, , filter and a few other things . I am not sure...

Thanks will check out ignition module. It has a mechanical fuel pump

I have a 1989 Sea Ray Seville w a 4.3L merc . After about 30 min of half throttle cruising the motor start Running rough, backfires and cut out. After about 30 min of letting it cool down it starts and repeats the Rough idle and won’t idle and cuts out again . I wait another 30 min and it starts...

Engine cuts out after 30 min of mid throttle . Backfired and dies . Have to wait 30-40 min for it to cool down before it starts up . Then same thing happens . I have changed just about everything and can’t figure it out . Looking for guidance !!
