Strike it or walk away. Slimy/ignorant brokers need to be called out. I've wasted months and thousands of dollars trying to buy a boat because of broker incompetence and outright lying.
No way would I allow my voice to be squelched nor would I assume that any contract definition is clear...
I own 5 vehicles and paid to have 3 of them ceramic coated 3 years ago from a local IGL Kenzo company which was supposed to be top of the line back then.
All cars including the uncoated are no different now. Florida Bugs are just as hard to scrub off of the coated cars as the uncoated ones...
Road closures not required. Semi Trailer with one escort car for beams under 14 feet and two escort cars over 14 feet. Height is restricted to 14'6" so sometimes arches had to come down and the flybridge removed if possible.
Otherwise they made the trip on their own bottom out barge canal...
The dumbest voicemail I got was months after the sale. It was, "What does this alarm (blaring in the background) mean and should I shut the engine off if the temp is over 200 Degrees?"
On a side note.
This is all meant in the best possible tone:
The trip would be great for a retired guy or...
They had three locations on Sea Ray Drive, Merritt Island. I believe they never built boats at the one to the East which is now inhabited by Aviara Boats. I believe the original SERF location was the Building at the corner of Sea Ray Dr. and Courtenay which is now owned by Arrnott and they...
My request is asking which boats were made (manufactured) on Merritt Island. It's a data point I'm interested in for a couple of reasons. First, I own a business on Merritt Island. Second, many of my customers work at that plant and I want to put up photos related to the history. And the...
I'm compiling a list of prospective boats and want to focus on the Merritt Island built models.
I understand the first four letters of the HIN of MI boats is called out as SERF.
What models were the focus of Merritt Island?
I've seen the SERF HIN on the 410EC, 390EC and 370EC.
There was a ton of this in the 2007-2009 time frame that made the repo guys happy. Those boats get "retailed" at "wholesale" prices and further push overall prices down because sales typically have to compare to comps. I hope we never get there again but history tends to repeat itself for...
Sellers in a Buyers market are typically those that need or desperately want to sell due to changes in their financial position. Stock Market losses (-19%+ to date), Job loss (or decline of bonuses/overtime), divorce, health are the big catalysts but throw in being over-extended and add some...
It's already happening...Read my followup post #13. Also a review of Boat Trader will show numerous "Price Drops" in the ads which was something unheard of a year ago.
Rising interest rates and fuel cost that has jumped 50% in a little over a year are already affecting the market. More pain...
Traffic at boat dealers has already dropped. Check out this article:

One last data point is a discussion I had with a surveyor 2 weeks ago where he said he's gone from one to two surveys scheduled per day to...
