This is the instructions to the control pad in my 1998 290 DA. If you have a similar model the mode buttons might work the same. If you have a newer model key pad, look for your specific instruction manual online. There are a host of hidden features for most of our HVAC units...
On the AC, I believe most AC units have a dehumidify function which has a programed cycle so the unit is not continually running. When I'm away from the boat I just turn on this function and walk away.
Things I leave on:
Refrigerator.
Power Inverter.
HVAC in dehumidify mode.
Source out a rebuilt or new engine to get a cost and then while you are tearing into yours to diagnose the damage you will have a educated value of how much you want to spend on the old lump compared to just remove and replace.
If anyone was paying for labor to rip down an old lump to rebuild...
I have the same fixtures on the 98 290, 2 above the galley and in the head.
I bought these for all my interior lights except the big overhead lights. For the smaller fixtures I did have to bend them over slightly to fit but since they do not get hot I'm sure the plastic lens will be fine...
