    Fire suppression system

I need to have my fire extinguishers inspected for my insurance. My question is whether a 1995 290 SD is required to have a fire suppression system?

Currently I am waiting for a carburetor to be rebuilt so I can start my port engine and get it to the haul out. I have shifting problems in my starboard alpha drive that might be a kinked shift cable along with an oil leak in the same drive. I’m going to service both drives while it is out. I...

Well I got a great captain here who spent three or four hours with me. I was doing very well but the boat isn’t doing so well. I have spent thousands trying to get it going but still have some issues that prevent me from using the boat. Hopefully I will get them resolved soon.

Do you know what size you used? I’m having some work done I could change the props at the same time.

    High water alarm

I don’t see any indication at the helm that I could take a picture of.

Is there supposed to be an indication at the helm? How do I prove that I have complied?

    High water alarm

I have a 1995 290 Sundancer. My insurance company is requiring me to install a high water alarm and I noticed that in the specifications for my boat there is one installed by the factory. Does anyone know where it would be located?

It is twins but Alpha one outdrives. I was cautioned that they don’t pivot the boat as well as v-drives or straight inboards because they are farther aft and closer together than the aforementioned drives.

I’m a long time member of the Lauderdale Small Boat Club in Dania. I just bought a 1995 290 Sundancer from a fellow member of the club. I’m a little worried about backing her into my slip with outdrives. Any advice?
