They haven’t seen it yet but I called and she inferred this happens all the time, people usually submit it through insurance. $500 deductible no big deal.
Just figures, this is my luck. Lol.
This is so bizarre, any ideas? No damage to prop or anything else (new 2022 boat), it’s almost as if the water pressure broke the part off but that would be impossible. Have not hit anything, and lord knows you’d feel a bang if you hit hard enough to chip part of the lower unit off. I’ve been...
I’ve been boating for several decades, since I was 5. I’ve been driving boats since age 14. I know the rules of the water/boats. Though yes I would recommend all first time new boaters to take a course. People get out there with no clue what they’re doing with these brand new expensive boats…
It's fine, I didn't realize how close to the front the cleats are. But thanks! Wouldn't your bow lights illuminate your anchor cord a bit at night? And/or shouldn't a boater (not you, the other guy) be constantly checking conditions with a spotlight especially anywhere near other stationary...
I know it has anchor storage but it doesn't look especially huge. I ordered a 13lb anchor which I know is too big but coming from a center console I didn't think anything of it.
What do you attach the rope to? Because it seems to me the only choice is to tie the anchor to one of the cleats on...
It's here. :). They just have to do their due diligence with testing, etc but he said a week and a half to two, tops. I was just about the write it off for the whole season, was down the street getting my bumper touched up and randomly decided to stop by, and there it was.
Boat has been in shipping for over a month, don't understand why it's taking so long. Good news is it's done, parts shortage didn't affect any of the build. Just if the shipping could be snappier than a month that would be nice..
My old boat had the venerable Yamaha 130, I loved that outboard. 2 stroke, just add oil to the reservoir. The problem with that boat was always with the fuel delivery, not the outboard. I will miss being able to cut the engine on and off as much as I like whereas I have to run blower on...
Boat on time and set for a March delivery! I have had a horrendous, crippling back surgery a year ago and am just now back walking without a walker. Perfect timing. I keep imagining how fast and torquey a car that weighs 2600lbs would be with a 4.5L 250hp engine. :) :) This thing ain't...
Plus you can run accessories all day and not worry about killing all your juice. On my order (not here yet) second battery was an absolute must. The classic red switch I'm not getting, that's what I'd like. But my broker says it's all automatic and works well, so we will see.
