I have 1999 westerbeke generator that starts fine at panel but will not shut off at panel. What could be wrong

there is no seal to keep water from leaking out the bottom of but shaft. The seal are to keep water from leaking into bilge. There are bushings in the tides marine but some water can leak by.

need to check filter to see if it is full of fuel. IF not either the tank is too low or the fuel pump is bad.

What do remotes look like mine have failed which are wired not sure they will work

I had the same issue and it always failed at the worst time. I search and search and finely found a broken wire that was only making contact part of the time. on front left side of motor there is a red push button reset there was a wire that was barely connected. I got lucky hit it and it fell...

make sure you door is latched all the way back. There is a magnetic switch on the door so it has to be open. I was having boat moved and the part in the door fell out so switch would not make.

Elbows are Stainless. I have a 2003 and just replaced my manifolds. risers looked new on inside. My manifolds were aluminum.

Cooler is leaking

The big one is for the shower. That is also the one that has the plastic mess screen to catch hair.

I have same issue ended up being as you pull out hose several times and pushing back in the hose was kinked.

I see below here where it check hose have to pull motor that is not right.
