according to the techs at Mercury, we cannot add digital throttles ! I had called them about a month ago. vessel view 903 is worth the upgrade

another alternative is to switch to the vessel view 903. it can fit between your lower switch panels depending on what you have there already, and is all digital

I had a similar problem and wound up replacing the switch bank. they are hard to find, but sometimes pop up on ebay. Flounder Pounder has an aftermarket solution to replace the banks and control modules with regular switches and new adapters. Runs about 3500 dollars.

I owe you a thank you then, I actually used your dash as the idea for mine, I would have kept the original gauges but some of them were not working properly, so it was cheaper to convert to vessel view than replace them. I did not realize the picture I found on google was your boat! I had seen...

I have some pics of the boat in various stages. he cabin door is heavy, but applying graphite dry lubricant will make a big difference, without dirt sticking to the lube, Shift cables were not a major change, but I did them when I serviced the boat at the beginning of the year, since the...

Henry is correct, however you may be able to repair the damage by removing the damaged parts as much as possible. When I replaced the interior of my airplane, the company that did it used corrugated plastic, so I borrowed their method. I replaced most of my boat interior in this way. I cut...

I know that this is not for everyone, but I had a lot of problems with my gauges. Replacements were more expensive than upgrading , so I decided to go for a semi glass helm, and installed the vessel view 903. I am very happy with the results, and now have a much more usable dash full of...

there are a lot of posts with regards to swapping the spotlight to led. I read one where someone purchased this led bulb and supposedly it fit without modification. I purchased it but have not had a chance to install it yet. I can let you know in the next couple of weeks if it goes well. I...

the tracks have bolts in the engine compartment way up at the top in the back . I don't recall if there were one or two more in the cabin near the window by the rear bunk. I was never able to free the tracks, and they did not look bent when I removed them. I tried heating them, grease...

I took everything including the tracks off to try to unstick mine, they would move to a certain point and then jam. I was never able to get mine to move freely!

they are glued on . there is quite a bit of support for and against putting a small screw to secure them. Mine are secured with a small screw on top and bottom. I tried everything I could to match the paint, and was unable to. I had a company that paints boats finally finish them !

if you are referring to the ones over the v-berth, they are attached to boards behind the bolsters. these boards are they attached with wood screws found underneath the vinyl. you can see the ledge that the boards screw on to in the pix

on my boat, the water inside where the trash bin sits, came from a cracked sump box , it was cheap and easy to replace and from around the windshield wiper motor. water ran down the ceiling, and down the wall behind the refrigerator. I found that the water in the aft bed came from around the...

As Woody stated, I just connected my new cable to the splice behind the access panel. I was lucky, my cable was damaged at the antenna end, so I left the rest alone.
