Out of interest when you say wired into generator output, do you mean you wired into an existing generator circuit Dc to dc setups apparently have a loss factor in terms of lost energy, but only purists care I think

Did you resolve this. On my 400 the primer to starboard is close to the crankcase breather, on port it’s near the forward bulkhead above the fuel filter . I.e searay made sure they are accessible for both engines

btw 2nd inline muffler I assume is fine for Gas but I read somewhere it's not recommended by Westerbeke for Diesel because of back pressure.
