      Good Morning Spookeay,
I have been searching for pictures and designs for restoring my 1970 SRV 190. Please after seeing the great job you did on this SRV 190, I would be oooh so thankful for any and all pictures that you could send me.
      Thanks, Mike

Enjoyed all the youtube vids this week. Maybe we will get down to the lake with the go-fasters and see you guys one day. Would bring mine but that would be costly. Beautiful job on the Event HoriXon. The 80's model SR's are some of my favorites.

      Heather,
Boat looks great in the water - how did the first run go?

Yes, Wet sand the boat with 1000 then 2000 grit wet and dry... Sand it wet. Get a spray bottle and spray with one hand and small circle sand with the other. DO a small area let it dry and buff it, then wax... you will understand once you see it..... Wet sanding is the only way to cut the deep set oxidation.

I know you're a good one to ask. I have an '87 230 that I'm trying to restore the hull/gelcoat. I tried Simonize #7 polish and liquid rubbing compound. It still looks like it has spots or streaking. I have a variable speed polisher ( not a DA). Any suggestions appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Scott
