Have a 1983 310 Sundancer
Dinette table was included when I bought the boat but had been removed.
Looking for information on the table base....is it "in" the floor on these boats or "on" the floor? I've seen plenty of table bases that bolt to the floor but aren't below the floor.
Previous owner put down some linoleum type flooring and may have removed original table base (if it was inset)
Would like to reinstall one but afraid to start drilling holes in the floor without knowing what I am getting into, especially after seeing someone else put a screw through their hull!
If if I can learn that the base should be "in" the floor will feel better about pulling up the floor covering and looking around.

Thanks for any replies

Im not sure how much help I will be, but I have an 85 230 Weekender. The table base is mostly "in" the floor, but has the main mounting structure sticking up above floor level. Are you happy with the linoleum flooring the previous owner put in? If not, Id say pull that stuff up. Just my opinion though. In the picture I have attached you can see my table base towards the front of the cabin on the slightly raised portion of the floor.

Thanks for the reply. Every little bit helps when you are flying blind. From the look so that picture you have a lot of work ahead of you!

I sure do. It will be a long winter, but fun summer!!!

Yeah. The boat was stolen about a year ago. The previous owner got it back after it was found abandoned in a very wet woodlands area. Luckily everything is structurally sound down there in the cabin.
