One of the things I like about the marina I am at is the use of a sub dock to gain more room for dock storage , kids off boat when in slip , gear off boat, entertainment.. etc.

The upright dock box has a built in pressure washer with water softener

What do you like about your dock?

This is where we were last year. I am on the fence with this covered slip business. We had bird issues, Fish fly issues like no other...spiders were worse under roof in our case...boat was dirtier....it was nice in the rain but that's hardly worth it. This year we are going back outside

The spiders can be heavy. We start spraying in April and keep on it through June after that they are all gone.
As for the birds we get crows but they aren’t that bad.

Here's my marina, all frozen in a couple of years ago. Fortunately this only happens about every 20 years or so.

Here's a shot from the dock as we were walking down the dock to our slip.

And here's a shot of Beachcomber all tucked into her slip.

What do I like best? Where else can you get a 20' x 60' covered slip for $250/month? The marina is only about 10 years old and I was the first occupant of this slip. The marina is owned by the Port of Kennewick. They were nice enough to supply me with 50A/240V and 50A/120V power when I bought Beachcomber.

Damn 250 a month. Our 70x22 is 1,000 per month. Our 20x 10 is 300 per month we keep the jet boat and wave runner in the small slip.

Well, the OP did ask us to tell what we liked best about it.

I wish I had a bit more headroom getting in and out of the slip. The boat, sitting light on fuel and water has an air draft of 20'. The low point I have to pass under is a pipe that's 20'6" above the water. I don't think I'd try to get beneath that if there was a heavy snow load on it.

I love our dock, it is like a resort. We have an earthen pier, steel fixed finger piers, with a grass center, and dock boxes that double as picnic tables. Since it is earthen we can have grills on the dock at the tables.

And we have beaches, beautiful sandy beaches. Our boat is just 5 minutes from the harbor entrance. This is a vacation area, no industrial here.

This photo was taken by Sfergson727 on a flight over our marina. My boat is about an inch and a half below top center.

So here is our winter dock in Cape Coral. We love this place! We've enjoyed meeting FootballFan and COD here.
That looks like Cape Harbour.... we are in the area often usually at Rum Runners... We will be around the corner at Tarpon Point in March at the Westin for a week... nice area

Holy Crap! That is insane, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that

Looks like New Buffalo. Love that place. Usually stay at one of the marina hotels.

Nice spot...my wife was just there last week at the Westin... My daughter is getting married there in March...so she has been running back and forth.
Back when the condos went bankrupt after 2008 and they were selling the 3 bedrooms for $250k cash. We had the papers in our hand and didn't sign... That was the only investment I regret not doing. I really like that area and Fort Myers by boat... we rent those little Hurricanes from your marina when we are there and run around all over the place.

Thank you, We had always trailered the 270, since that was why we bought her, and stayed at the municipal marina when in New Buffalo. In 2013 I contacted Carver370 member here and he set me up in my slip. Once the Admiral got a taste of slip life, trailering was over.
