hello
anyone have a link to help me out to repair my leaking porthole windows, I have a tarp over the boat now to cover the windows since LA turned in to seattle this winter, they leak so bad the carpet gets wet and it flooded out the forward bilge, thanks !

Can you see what area the windows are leaking from?

We have a 320 that had a leak in on one of the portlights, you can replace the gasket by contacting Bomar directly and I would suggest also taking the portlight out and reseal. I took ours apart this past weekend and it appears it was never caulked at the factory if that is possible.

no cant see that but water is getting into port side cabinets by table , maybe i can disassemble and caulk them>?

Reason I asked is I, and others have fixed leaks by adjusting the little almost hidden screw that actually touches the glass on your porthole when you slide the latches over to secure. I've found some that weren't touching the glass at all.

What TNT8808 said....I had a similar issue with my 270AJ that would drain into the head, down the drain and overwhelm the sump box below the stairs...I'd end up with wet carpet at the bottom of the stairs. Turned out the hidden screws need to be tightened. A 'quick fix' would be to tape over the affected area too until it can be properly fixed

Use a hose and find out exactly where it is leaking from before you do any disassembly. As others mentioned, it "could" just be the rubber seal/dog leg latches. If there is no visible leak on the inside, remove/reseal the outside trim rings (typically the outer one where it meets the hull).

FYI, a rain water leak will not overwhelm the step down pump... unless the pump is not working. However, the rain water could be ending up outside the box (never entering it).

You are correct...the pump was working but had water outside the box and found its way to the carpet below the step...wish it was a fiberglass liner with snap in carpet or fake teak there!

thanks for the info , im going down today and look for that screw and check it out

Do you mean the screws that the latches pivot on?

I have a 320 with a leak inside the head med chest. There's an access port in there and water is dripping from it when there is a a lot of rain and wind. Looking up in to the access port hole doesnt show much. I can see a bow rail mount right there, but I tried to recreate the leak with a good dousing of hose water, but it didnt happen.

Same here but water at control panel infront of aft cabin. Also replaced all window gaskets and resealed

My 05 270 Amberjack was leaking from the port running light. The water was running along the bulkhead and down into the forward bilge under the stairs. Removed the light and calked it. Hasn't leaked in years.

Thanks guys I was going to seal my rub rail cleat bow rail etc etc it wasn’t as bad when I was in water last summer I guess the angle of the boat on the hard is greater and it found somewhere to get in
