95-97 degrees this weekend!!!! No good for boating, not to mention all the weekend warriors that are out this weekend!! ;)

No kiddin'! was 94 here today and tomorrow is forecasted to be 96. We are having a birthday party for my Dad who will be 90 and naturally it will be held outside.

Too hot to boat?? I could never do that. Love being down there in the winter, but can’t imagine that heat and humidity in the summer. Your winters are like our summers, perfect. Do Florida people retire and move north for the summer? I don’t really know anyone that does that. Everyone I know that migrates was a northerner in the beginning and goes to Fl for the coldest months up here then comes back here for the amazing summers. My sister-in-law lives in the Phoenix area and is basically a shut-in all summer, no thanks.
We are almost home, in the Erie Canal now. Temperatures are in the 60’s and low 70’s. We have traded in our evening chilled cocktails in the cockpit for a light sweat shirt and a cup of coffee, it feels like a nice change, at least for now.

Happy Birthday to your dad what a milestone!! 90’s here all weekend as well...

Ya know, those of us in the northern climates hate to hear people say it’s too hot to boat :).

There’s no such thing as “too hot” up here. Even in the dog days of summer when it’s mid-90’s and humid as heck, we just find some shade or jump in the water to cool off (a cold one in your hand helps too).

Enjoy your hot weather as we barely crack the 70’s this Memorial Day weekend.

Payback for all the "Why would anyone live up there?" posts from the southern residents over the past few months. Spent a pleasant morning with the family on the water fishing for walleye Friday. Caught my first ever sturgeon, as well, which was released after a 30 minute battle.

All y'all are living in the wrong corner of the country. It ain't the heat, it's the humidity that's the killer. Mid-90's out here in the desert corner of WA state are very comfortable because we usually only have a 15% humidity.
only 80% humidity today, with a cool 94-95 degrees...…..

I know, I know, nice catch by the way. Is that a jacket and jeans your wearing? LOL Shorts, T-shirts and flip flops is all we wear here.... ;)

We went out to a sandbar in the gulf this afternoon. Pretty well got our fill of sun and saltwater.

Put the Bimini up on the ride back, wet from being in the water, in the shade, it was very nice, almost cool.

Had a good day on the Harris chain in Leesburg today. Nothing crazy. Weather was great! A little warm in direct sun but stayed under the Bimini most of the time.
