Panel at Foot of Bed in State Room

Hi all does anybody know if the front panel at the foot of our bed in the state room is able to be pulled away for access to the air con and bow thruster battery or do we need to go in through the flip up panel under the mattress. I've tried to pull it but don't want to cause any damage to it in case it is permanently fixed in place. Boat is a Searay Sundancer 360 (395 International) sport cruiser, 2002.

Hello Al I have not seen any way to get that panel off in mine. Have vacuumed the dust around the front and back reaching inside from under the mattress. My B T battery is in the engine compartment within the starboard bank of group 31's. What are you trying to do?

Hi DB360, My BT battery is located just to the right of the bed and short of taking apart the AC ducting thought it would be easier to slide it out through the front as it needs changing for a new one.

Sounds like an adventure. Maybe the ducting won't be a problem. Best of luck!
