So after my daughter and her friend commandeered Bennett's floating mat and disrupted an otherwise peaceful raft up (thank Bennett and April for putting up with that!!!), my wife wants to get one.

Talking around there are 2, 3 and 4 ply versions. I guess the more ply's the more they can people can be on it, or easier to walk on. The down side I've heard is the more plys, the larger the roll/harder to store aboard.

Looking for input before making a choice. Is there a better brand, or one to stay away from?

we have one from sams a yr ago and works good.. 2 ply

+1 for Sam's
Had ours for 3 years before the combo of dog claws and teenarunning on it tore a hole that you could swim through. Bought another last year, and I'm still cheaper than buying a name brand lily pad.

This will be our second year. It’s pvc like a dingy so I think it will last quite a while. Pretty cool because you can deflate it and it’s so small.
